All the people that I work with talk about Friday night cocktails, Saturday night margaritas, Sunday night shots, Monday morning hangovers, and all that jazz. People that I think a lot of, I discover they see nothing wrong with drinking. I wanna start a movement. I wanna change something. I want to get the word out to the United States of America, that drinking booze is not good. You cannot justify it with the Bible, you cannot say Jesus drank wine, you just cannot. So this is what I am rambling on today.
You might disagree with me, you might think I'm nuts. However, let me tell you something, I wanna be different, folks. I'm more than glad that I am different, called out.
Did you know that there are 627 different mentions in the Bible of the negative effects of alcohol? There are more verses against drinking than any other sin. But it is one of the things that Christians refuse to put down.
We lose 50, 000 people a year to alcohol. Do you honestly believe that Jesus would stand by something that has taken so many lives? Do you think Jesus would have done what people think he did at the Wedding of Cana? If you do, what Jesus do you know.
I am gonna stop here, and call this Part 1, there will be more parts. However, if you want more info on it through the voice of a pastor, e-mail me, I'll send you a message from Pastor Jentezen Franklin who preached against the use of alcohol. It is a message that every Christian needs to hear.

Busy, not forgotten
Well, in my own defense, I did not forget this. I have been so busy, and trust me the last thing you wanna do when you are busy and tired is write up a blog entry. But praise the Lord, I feel almost 100% better today. It took a lot of prayer, and a few nights of going to bed at 8:30. However, praise the Lord, I am writing in this again.
First off, I'd like to congratulate the most awesome quartet in the world for winning a couple Doves. Signature Sound deserved those Doves, and I thank the Lord for them. EH&SS are a huge inspiration to me.
Second, Gold City needs to come to Virginia.
Third, if I lose weight dancing with the Hannah Montana Wii Game would you think anything less of me? It is the greatest exercise, for sure!
Fourth, I wanna see Juno, 27 Dresses, Alvin and the Chipmunk, and I am Legend really bad. Wish me luck.
Fifth, the economy is terrible. We need to pray for the economy and the people affected by it. You and I might have ample, but that don't mean everyone does.
God bless,
B

Haven't forgotten this yet
I have to give myself some credit. I didn't forget this over the past couple days. Keeping it where I can see it helps. Well, let's see what should I ramble on?
Well, my choir director, has decided to do a song that I sing the bass lead on in a couple weeks. The song is "Hide Me, Rock of Ages" made popular by Gold City. I absolutely love the song, but I wasn't expecting us to be doing it so soon. I will admit, our choir could not begin to touch Gold City, but I must admit I love singing that song. I really feel like a bass when I sing it. Timmy Duncan would be so proud, I think.
This week is Idol Gives Back on American Idol. I must admit that I think it is nice that they are doing this, but I smell a rat. A rat that wants ratings so much that they switch over to a literal telethon to do this. My only opinion about helping starving children in Africa is the fact that we have starving children in America. What about the little children that go to bed with no supper then wake up and have no breakfast? That is what needs to be our first priority. Missions, brothers and sisters, starts at home. And honestly, we need missions at home.
The election is on everyone's minds. Let me just say that the election is the equivalent of fancy resturant with three fancy entrees that are all foreign and disgusting. McCain is not fit to run the country. Obama is way too liberal. Clinton lacks qualities of a leader. Come on, folks, what is the US coming to?
Senior year of high school is boring... I wish I could test out right now!
More rambling later...

Introductions
Hello there, friend. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog. Your interest interests me, hehe. I am glad that you decided to stop by though. Let me just introduce you to this blog first. I am giving blogging another chance. Most of the time, I seem to lose interest in blogging half way through the project. So here I got again! Let's see if I can stay dedicated to a blog.
This blog is special because I am going to ramble, a lot. I am going to jump around to all kinds of topics. You will never be 100% sure what I will be rambling about on any certain day.
I want to make sure that the environment on my blog is family friendly. If Jesus wouldn't read the blog, then neither will I. So let's keep in clean, shall we?
Okay, let's get started!
Southern Gospel is easily my favorite genre of music. I really like the Gaither Vocal Band. I got my pre-ordered copy of their new CD Lovin' Life. It is different for sure. Give it Away is so different from this one. It has a different sound to it. I just hope and pray that GVB isn't planning on sticking with this sound forever. It is reminiscent of some other things that I've not liked. However, there are some definite winners on this CD. Especially Lovin' Life the title track. It is a perfect song for them! Guy really shines. Jesus and John Wayne is excellent too. I can't get over how awesome, actually. Buy this CD when it comes out, you won't be upset!
That's my ramblings for today, more sometime.
God bless,
B
